(POST)PANDEMIC PREPAREDNESS AND DIGITAL INNOVATIONS
14. Symposium on Acute Cardiology and Emergency Medicine
The XIV. symposium on acute cardiology and emergency medicine will be held as “Charité meets Spain” addressing the post pandemic situation with ongoing dynamic changes of medical care and a high focus on digital medicine solutions, which may support the use and indication quality of modern therapies, but also potentially changes the role of the ED. The ED is recognized as central point of contact, which enables the direction of patients in specific care scenarios. With the help of digital medicine, the ED evolves beyond the exclusion of serious disease to master all acute health situations and initiate advance medical therapies. “Diagnostic stewardship” is a concept, which arises from global health challenges and will be featured as an emerging concept of medical progress. We will discuss these topics in the European international perspective with a high-ranking faculty including Spanish guests.
