“Age-sensitive emergency medicine” – funded by Charité Foundation – aims to raise the profile of geriatric emergency medicine within the healthcare system and strengthen its role. Leading European experts in geriatric emergency medicine will hold a course on geriatric emergency medicine featuring simulations and small-group discussions based on the curriculum of the European Task Force for Geriatric Emergency Medicine, as well as a workshop on quality indicators in geriatric emergency medicine: clinical, scientific, and participatory. On the second day, two lecture sessions will be held in the morning on the topics “Best Practice in Geriatric Emergency Medicine” and “Geriatric ‘M’s’ in Emergency Medicine.
